Last updated: August 7, 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of ChinaOpportunity's services. By engaging with us — whether through our website, contact form, or directly — you agree to these terms.
2. What We Do (and Don't Do)
ChinaOpportunity provides bilingual life and communication support for international students and families in China.
We provide:
- Pre-departure planning and checklist guidance
- Arrival and settlement coordination
- Life support (payments, housing guidance, medical referrals, transport orientation)
- Study-life advice and cultural adaptation support
- Career exploration and resource referrals
We do not:
- Act as an admissions agent or guarantee university placement
- Process visa applications or represent you before immigration authorities
- Provide legal advice or act as a law firm
- Provide medical diagnoses or act as a medical institution
- Make decisions on your behalf without your explicit consent
All services are advisory in nature. Final decisions remain your own responsibility.
3. Service Scope and Confirmation
Before any paid service begins, we will issue a written service confirmation outlining:
- The specific scope of work
- The fee and payment schedule
- The estimated timeline and deliverables
- What is explicitly excluded
No service is considered agreed until both parties have confirmed the scope in writing.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees are outlined in your service confirmation. General pricing tiers on our website are indicative — actual fees depend on your specific situation and scope.
Payment is due as agreed in the service confirmation. We reserve the right to pause service if payment is not received as scheduled.
5. Limitation of Liability
We provide support in good faith but cannot guarantee outcomes related to university admissions, visa approvals, housing arrangements, or medical and legal matters. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all client information with strict confidentiality. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website is the property of ChinaOpportunity. You may use it for personal reference but may not reproduce or redistribute it commercially without permission.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a service engagement with written notice. If you terminate, our Refund Policy applies.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will notify active clients of material changes.
